What’s included in museum admission?
Included Halls + Labs
OMSI Labs provide unique experiences for learners to understand and focus on foundational science concepts. They are unique activities and hands-on experiences supported by trained staff and volunteers. *Lab space times are subject to change. Please check in at labs for current schedule.
Natural Sciences Hall – Dive deep into topics of the interconnection between animals, plants, environment, climate, and time through a variety of guided and self led discovery

Chemistry Lab – Experience real chemistry tools, materials, and processes to foster wonder and excitement about how matter interacts with our world

Discovery Lab – Ages 0-6 and their families can explore frequently-changing hands-on activities that engage their senses, build early science skills, and grow the connections in their brain

Paleontology Lab – Experience specimens that are millions of years old while interacting with staff and volunteers preparing regionally-collected fossils

Life Lab – Take a closer look and discover the ecosystems, adaptations, and more that fill our natural world full of surprises

Teen Tech Center – Ages 13-18 can create alongside mentors and other teens to explore ideas, develop skills, and discover a variety of tech resources

Visiting the Museum
OMSI is located at 1945 SE Water Ave Portland, OR 97214. Visitors can pay for parking through the Parking Kitty app (as of 7/24/23) or at the parking kiosks in the North and South parking lots.
OMSI parking costs $5 (+ fees) for 2 hours or $8 (+ fees) for all day parking. Guests arriving at 5pm or later can expect to pay a flat fee of $2 (+ fees) for the evening.
