What hours are the Turbine Hall + Curium open?

The Turbine Hall + Curium are open the same days and hours that OMSI is open.

What ages are allowed in?

The Curium is especially designed for children 4-8 years old, although people of all ages are welcome to play and explore. The Teen Tech Center is exclusively for people 13-18 years old. All other areas of the Turbine Hall are for all ages.

Are the Turbine Hall + Curium wheelchair accessible?

The experiences in the Turbine Hall + Curium are wheelchair accessible. The Epicenter earthquake simulator has an electric lift for people who are unable to use the stairs, and there is an elevator for access to the Teen Tech Center on the mezzanine level of the Turbine Hall.

What amentities are available in the Turbine Hall + Curium?

The Turbine Hall + Curium have many amenities available, including:

  • Family and ADA accessible restroom in the Curium
  • Gendered stall restrooms in the Turbine Hall
  • Quiet/nursing room in the Curium
  • Water fountains and bottle refilling stations
  • Elevator to mezzanine level (Teen Tech Center) and second floor (Parker Room meeting room)
  • Lunch room with vending machines

Please let a staff member know if you need additional support during your visit.

Who can use the lunch room?

On weekday mornings until 2pm, the Turbine Hall lunch room is often reserved for visiting school groups. Check the board at the entrance of the room for reservations. On weekends, afternoons, or when there are no reservations, anyone may use the lunch room.
