“Exploring New Horizons” is a full-dome planetarium show that explores the New Horizons spacecraft and its mission to dwarf planet Pluto and other KBOs. This program also exhibits the importance of the scientific method and how it applies to our understanding of the Solar System. Starting from ancient times, learn about the history of planetary discovery, especially that of Pluto, and how it has led to an amazing mission to explore the Kuiper Belt. This show includes a live presentation.

This film is in our library and available for groups of 30 or more. Smaller groups are welcome to register for films reserved by another group or pay the 30-person minimum. View current listings or call the registration office for more information.

This program takes place in the Kendall Planetarium. Combine this program with a field trip to the museum.

A minimum of 2 weeks' advance notice is required for all registration requests. If you have questions, please contact us at 503.797.4661 or register@omsi.edu.
