Program Overview
OMSI offers the following admission access programs to ensure that science-fueled fun is available to everyone. Below is a list of admission access programs we currently offer, as well as each program’s policies and qualification criteria. Admission Discounts
OMSI $5 Days
Explore the museum’s permanent exhibit halls and labs for just $5 per person on the first Sunday of each month! Plus, enjoy $5 tickets on special exhibitions, Empirical Theater and Kendall Planetarium shows, and tours of the USS Blueback Submarine.
Arts for All
OMSI participates in the Arts for All program. Up to four $5 General Admission tickets can be purchased online or in-person. Individuals who receive income assistance via EBT, SNAP, WIC, TANF, or Medicaid / OHP regardless of their state of residence are eligible.
Military Discount
Receive $2 off museum admission with applicable military ID. Valid for both active duty and veterans. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk.
AAA Discount
Receive $2 off museum admission with proof of valid AAA membership. Tickets can be purchased at the front desk.
Advance Groups
OMSI offers discounted admission for groups of 15 or more booking in advance. Please contact us at register@omsi.edu  or 503.797.4661 for more information.
Senior Discount
Guests ages 63 and older are eligible to purchase a discounted Senior general admission ticket.
Free Admission
ASTC Reciprocal Admission
Members of organizations participating in the ASTC Passport Program are entitled to free admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children. See the ASTC Passport Program website to determine your eligibility.
Bank of America Museums on Us
OMSI is a Bank of America Museums on Us partner. Visit the Museum on the first full weekend of each month and show your Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card to receive one free general admission. Free general admission is limited to the named cardholder.
Educator Previews
In the interest of helping schools plan trips, OMSI provides complimentary admission for Pacific Northwest regional educators to featured exhibits. Explore our educator benefits page to learn more or contact us at Register@omsi.edu or (503) 797-4661 for more information.
Companion Tickets
Professional aides accompanying a visitor with a disability receive free museum admission. One aide per visitor. Please contact Concierge at Info@omsi.edu or (503) 797-4000 for more information.
REAP Card
Reciprocal Employee Attraction Pass
Employees of participating local cultural attractions are entitled to two free general admission tickets. Present your REAP card and employee ID at the front desk.
Teen Tech Center
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center is always free for ages 13-18, where you can create alongside mentors and other teens to explore your own ideas, develop skills, and express yourself though technology.
