Come Explore, Learn + Spend a night in the Museum!
Turn an ordinary field trip into an unforgettable overnight adventure at OMSI! A Museum Overnight is perfect for team building, end-of-year celebrations, or simply giving your students a chance to experience science in a whole new way. OMSI is yours 5:00 PM–9:00 AM! Your students will enjoy:

After an evening of exploration, students and chaperones sleep among the exhibits in the newly renovated Natural Sciences Hall and Science Playground. Available for grades 3–8 (ages 7–14).

The Nancy Stueber Natural Sciences Hall
Newly renovated in 2026, focused on climate action and highlighting the PNW region specifically. a Sleep among a 6-foot sphere come to life with images of the sun, moon, and mars with OMSI’s Science on a Sphere. Explore our refreshed lab spaces, and more!
Turbine Hall
Tackle design challenges at OMSI Innovation Stations, Go hands-on to design your own solutions to real world problems with Designing Our World, and Explore the Physics lab and Chemistry lab.
Featured Exhibit Hall
Our featured exhibit hall changes every 3 to 6 months. Some premium featured exhibits require an additional fee for entry. Inquire about the 26-27 school year featured exhibit at register@omsi.edu.
Science Playground
The perfect place for young scientists to build, explore, create, and play. Infant and toddler spaces, water area, and the climber are featured areas in our newly renovated Pre-K and younger area.
Breakfast
Includes bagels with schmear, fresh fruit, juice and yogurt.

Movie in the Empirical theater, submarine tour walk-thru, planetarium show, museum exploration.
