United Nations Sustainable Goal 3: Good Health and Wellbeing
There are some big problems in the world like hunger, climate change, extreme poverty, and inequities. Why does that affect you? These problems impact people around the world, your community, and you. We need to work together as a community to solve the big problems in the world. It’s so important that the United Nations has created 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs) to help tackle these issues.
The third Sustainable Development Goal is:
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Health is more than how you physically feel. It includes social and mental health, too.
Connections with people keep us healthy.
How do you know when you’re healthy? How do you know when you’re not feeling well? How do you connect with others? Do you know your neighbors in your community? What should you do if you’re worried about your mental health?
You don’t have to visit the museum to connect with others and strengthen your community. Visit the pages below to explore different ways of feeling connected to others remotely.
