What dates and hours are the museum and this temporary feature exhibit open?

Knowing Nature is scheduled to be on view from January 25, 2025 through July 6, 2025. Regular hours are 9:30am-5:30pm Tuesday-Friday & Sunday. Saturday hours are 9:30am-7:00pm. The museum is closed on Mondays. Please see our What’s On Calendar for the most up-to-date information including special holiday and school break hours.

How long does it take to see the exhibit?

Individual visit times will vary, but most guests can anticipate spending 30 to 45 minutes viewing Knowing Nature. There is no time limit within the exhibit, and guests may enjoy it for as long as the museum is open.

Is photography permitted in the exhibit?

Photography is allowed in Knowing Nature.

Are food and drink permitted in the exhibit?

Food or drink are not permitted in the exhibit hall.

Can I bring my stroller into the exhibit if I have young children with me?

Yes. Strollers are permitted inside the exhibit.

Are electric mobility devices allowed in the exhibit?

Personal mobility devices are permitted in the exhibit; however, OMSI-provided electric carts are not permitted within the exhibition.
