Learn about Latino contributions to science and technology while connecting with Portland’s Latino community!

On Friday, August 2nd, OMSI’s Best Buy Teen Tech Center invites you to explore the makerspace while learning more about Latinidad in STEAM! Delve into our makerspace, where you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of Latino contributions to science and technology. This space provides a place for all of us to come together to foment community building and foster innovation.

We welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds to explore the makerspace during this event. Apart from having access to the wide variety of resources available at the Teen Tech Center, attendees will have the chance to participate in various projects and connect with community-based organizations specific to Portland’s Latino community.

El viernes, 2 de agosto, el Best Buy Teen Tech Center (Centro Tecnológico para Adolescentes de Best Buy) en OMSI te invita a explorar su espacio de creación o makerspace; mientras  aprendes más sobre la latinidad en STEAM (Ciencia, Tecnología, Ingeniería, Arte y Matemáticas). Sumérgete en nuestro makerspace, donde tendrás la oportunidad de ampliar tu conocimiento acerca de las contribuciones latinas a la ciencia y la tecnología. Este espacio permite que todos nuestros participantes se reunan para promover la convivencia comunitaria y fomentar la innovación. 

Invitamos a personas de todas las edades y procedencias a explorar el makerspace durante este evento. Además de tener acceso a una gran gama de recursos disponibles en el Teen Tech Center, todos los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de participar en varios proyectos y conectarse con organizaciones comunitarias latinas de Portland.
