KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR 2025 DATES
FEBRUARY 23-25, 2024 | FREE ADMISSION | OMSI AUDITORIUM
Explore the wonders of nature at the Oregon Agate & Mineral Society’s (OAMS) 73rd Annual Agate and Mineral Show! Enjoy 30+ exhibitors featuring a wide array of beautiful cabochons (cut, shaped, and polished rocks) from across the Northwest, as well as hands-on activities and interactive demonstrations.
Ever wonder how these rocks are cut and polished? OAMS members will be on-site demonstrating the equipment and process used to prepare rocks for display. Watch experts use saws to cut slabs, shape, and create designs. While you’re here, observe how stones are polished into gorgeous, colorful cabochons.
As a long-time partner of OMSI, OAMS donates all proceeds from their Agate and Mineral Show to OMSI’s Hancock Field Station. The station provides safe, fun, and exciting outdoor education opportunities in Central Oregon’s John Day River Valley, an area world-renowned for its fossil-rich rock formations and geology learning.
The Agate and Mineral Show is a must for rock enthusiasts of all ages – come explore with us!
