Join community members and OMSI for the fourth-annual Pasifika & Asian American Community Science Night. This event welcomes visitors of all ages for a night of museum exploring, science demonstrations, vendor tables, and cultural entertainment – all in celebration of the local Pasifika and Asian American community. All are welcome!

TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition
Step back to April 1912 and assume the role of a passenger on the Ship’s first and final journey. With more than 100 authentic artifacts recovered from the wrecksite, guests are immersed in life on board the Titanic and the deeply human stories behind one of history’s most enduring legends.
This exhibition requires a separate ticket beyond standard Community Science Night GA entry. Tickets are an additional $7 (with discounts for OMSI members).
A dynamic, hands-on exhibit space where visitors explore real-world science through interactive challenges like building, testing, and designing solutions to environmental and engineering problems.
Natural Science Hall
OMSI’s renovated Natural Science Hall will be open! This hall will have been turned into a dynamic space aimed at deepening public understanding of climate related challenges and community-level actions

Lego Building Challenge | Get your hands on some bricks and see if you can build a structure to match our challenges!
Elephant’s Toothpaste | A live stage demonstration of some foamy science!
Lycopodium Flares | Another live stage demonstration of flashy chemical reactions.
Timed Activities
Science Playground
6 – 8 pm| In this Hall young scientist build skills like asking questions, experimenting, taking risks, and sharing ideas with others. Each area is designed for children ages birth through 6 and their families to practice science skills.
Kendall Planetarium Shows
6:30 pm | Starry Nights Live | A live tour of the night sky over Portland and what you can see with the naked eye on a cloudless night.Â
7:15 pm | Laser Bruno Mars
8:00 pm | Laser KPop Demon Hunters
