Through its new “First Tech Beyond™” sponsorship program, First Tech supports community initiatives and programs that spark interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) among youth and historically underrepresented populations in the tech industry. First Tech’s ongoing support helps OMSI deliver high-quality, engaging STEM education to thousands of local students, removing barriers and expanding access across the region.
This summer, through its First Tech Beyond program, First Tech is presenting OMSI’s Science of Soccer summer camp in partnership with the Portland Timbers. This popular camp provides 4th and 5th graders a chance to see how science, technology, engineering, art, and math are revolutionizing the game. As a benefit to its members, First Tech is also introducing a new monthly sweepstakes opportunity. Throughout the year, members will have a chance to win exciting OMSI-themed prizes—including 4-packs of free passes and more—offering fun and educational experiences for the whole family.
