Jaymee Jacoby joins OMSI as its new Vice President of Development

[PORTLAND, OR – March 31, 2025] – The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) announced today that Jaymee Jacoby has joined the organization as the new Vice President of Development. In her role, Jacoby will help build OMSI’s next phase of growth, leading the strategy, planning, and implementation of all aspects of OMSI’s development programs.

Jacoby joins OMSI with over twenty-four years of nonprofit development and management experience, including eighteen years as a fundraiser. During her more than decade-long tenure at the Portland State University Foundation (PSUF), Jacoby led planning and implementing development initiatives for the university’s academic and major units, working closely with PSUF and PSU leadership to guide the strategic direction of the institution and meet philanthropic goals.

Jacoby held several positions at the Portland Art Museum early in her career before transitioning to a fundraising role at the Museum of Contemporary Craft. From there, she transitioned to the Portland State University Foundation, bringing a values and vision-driven approach to building teams and developing strategies in line with institutional goals.

Jacoby earned her BA in Studio Art and French from Indiana University, and a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Development & Management from Portland State University. Jacoby begins her role at OMSI on March 31, 2025.
