The Museum

Immunocompromised-friendly night at OMSI

OMSI is pleased to host a night at the museum for those who are immunocompromised, a low-capacity evening, PPE masks required (N95 or KN95 only). In the main lobby, we will have a table offering free masks for all guests.

All guests, staff, security, etc., attending or working the event will be required to wear an N95 or KN95 mask, no matter your age.

Featured Exhibit Bundle | $33 Adults (14+), $30 Seniors (63+), $28 Youth (3-13) | OMSI members $6
Includes access to the featured exhibit, Jurassic World by Brickman, the Turbine Hall, Knowing Nature: Stories of the Boreal Forest in the Natural Science Hall, and an Empirical Movie OR a Planetarium show.*

Activities Happening All Night

Exhibits

No food or drink is allowed into the exhibit halls and entry ends at 8:30pm.

Jurassic World by Brickman®| Featuring large-scale LEGO® brick dinosaurs, props, scenes, and activities—plus, the newest Jurassic World by Brickman® dinosaur, made from over 100 thousand LEGO bricks, the Baryonyx! Walk through the iconic Jurassic World gates and relive the magic of beloved stories and characters from the Jurassic World franchise, as you embark on a thrilling journey across the Isla Nublar. (included in the Featured Exhibit Bundle ticket)

 

Knowing Nature: Stories of the Boreal Forest | This exhibit focuses on the biodiversity and global importance of our northern-most forests through first-person stories, commissioned objects, interactive experiences and exquisite photography and videography. The boreal forest stores more carbon than most tropical forests and plays a significant role in stabilizing our climate. It is also home to hundreds of Sovereign Indigenous Nations and communities.

After you purchase your ticket, you will be sent a form to sign up for the show of your choice. Please note: You will need to fill out the form for each person in your party. If you don’t receive the form, email us at events@omsi.edu.

Due to the nature of this event and to prioritize the safety of immunocompromised attendees, OMSI’s restaurant and cafe will be closed.

Will food be available for purchase?

Due to the nature of this event and to prioritize the safety of immunocompromised attendees, OMSI’s restaurant and cafe will be closed.

Are masks required for everyone?

Yes, masks are required for this event to ensure the safety and comfort of our immunocompromised guests. All attendees must wear an N95 or KN95 mask, which will be provided for free in the main lobby if needed.

We kindly ask that young children who are unable to wear a mask not attend this event. We understand that young children are also immunocompromised but have decided to make this event, masks required for everyone. We are exploring ways to include young children in future offerings.

How many people will be in attendance?

This event is limited to 400 guests total.

Arts for All Tickets

Through the Arts for All program, OMSI provides discounted general admission tickets for eligible purchases. Up to four general admission tickets can be purchased over the phone. Individuals who receive income assistance via EBT, SNAP, WIC, TANF, or Medicaid / OHP regardless of their state of residence are eligible. Ticket holders may be asked to show documentation indicating eligibility along with photo ID and tickets at entry.

Tickets for the museum bundle are $10pp and the Featured Exhibit bundle is $18pp.

Do I have to pay for parking?

OMSI has switched to a new parking system via the mobile parking app, Parking Kitty, to create an easier and more streamlined experience for our visitors. OMSI parking will cost $5 + fees for 2 hours or $8 + fees for all day parking.

Parking is $2 + fees for after-hours events.
