Experience Earth and other planets on a six-foot globe. From current weather patterns to earthquakes, air traffic to ocean temperatures, this unique and immersive experience shows stories of how we’re all connected across the Earth.
Rocks, minerals, and fossils
Dig into Earth’s history through the rocks, minerals, and fossils on display. From rare Oregon fossils that tell stories of past climates to florescent minerals, discover what’s special about what’s buried in the Earth.

The Natural Sciences Hall is open the same days and hours that OMSI is open.
All ages and visitor groups can explore the Hall.
There are no bathrooms or water fountains in the Natural Science Halls. However, there are bathrooms and water fountains locating on the second level of the Museum, just adjacent to the Hall.
The Hall is dark with thematic lighting and it can be loud.
The experiences in the Natural Science Hall are wheelchair accessible.
