NOVEMBER 13, 6-10PM | $50 Tasting Package / $25 General Admission | 15% OMSI member discount

Decant your night and enjoy regional wines and cheeses at OMSI. Tasting Package includes ten 1oz tasting tokens and a commemorative 5oz wine glass.

OMSI After Dark is for guests 21 and over, where you can have a drink while you roam the museum. We have science demos, performances, DJs, artisan food and beverage vendors, and more.

21+ Only | A valid government issued ID is required for entry for all attendees.

Activities Happening All Night

Exquisite Creatures: Revealed! | Experience how awe-inspiring the natural world can be through the intricate design of its inhabitants. Oregon artist Christopher Marley reveals the connection between art, science, and nature by creating stunning three-dimensional displays of rare specimens from all over the world. All subjects have been reclaimed or sourced in an environmentally sensitive manner.

 

Playing with Light | Manipulate 20,000 LEDs, shake your own hand, paint with light, bounce laser beams, freeze your shadow, and so much more. Immerse yourself in the technology and wonders of light.

Cork Tricks! | Try our some cool party tricks with a cork, and learn about the science behind them.

 

Cheese Aging | How old is that cheese?! Come learn a bit about the aging of cheese, why its necessary, and what it does to the cheese.

 

Brix House | Let’s use some light science to determine how sweet or dry a sample of wine is.

Food + Beverage

Our Theory restaurant will be open from 5-10pm! Grab dinner or a drink before the event begins at 6pm. Enjoy wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our bars will close at 9:30pm, and alcohol samples given by vendors will end at 9:45pm.

Is this event 21 and over only?

Yes, you must be 21+ to attend. Minors are not allowed. <strong>Everyone</strong> must present a valid government issued ID.

If I’m unable to attend, can I get a refund?

Yes. If your plans change, if you are feeling sick or have been potentially exposed to COVID please stay home. To request a refund email concierge@omsi.edu or call 503.797.4000 x0. We will give refunds until 5pm the night of the event.

Is there food and beverage at this event?

Yes, our restaurant, Theory will be open. Plus, we will have bars with beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks. We also typically have a couple artisan vendors giving out free samples of alcohol or snacks.

 

Our bars will close at 9:30pm, and alcohol samples given by vendors will end at 9:45pm.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is $2 for after-hours events.
