Find your new favorite sweet treat, learn the science behind what sugar does to your body and explore the difference between milk, dark, and white chocolate.

OMSI After Dark is for the 21-and-over only crowd, where you can drink beer or wine and roam the museum with no kids around. We have science demos, performances, DJ’s, artisan food and beverage vendors and more.

21+ Only | A valid government issued ID is required for entry for all attendees.

Activities Happening All Night

Orcas: Our Shared Future | Follow the currents of ecological activism, popular culture, and Indigenous beliefs to gain a new appreciation of these sophisticated animals, long feared in Western cultures as “Killer Whales.” Please note, access to the exhibit will close at 9:15pm

 

Staying Alive: Defenses of the Animal Kingdom | Explore how animals use tough armor, powerful venom and poison, sneaky camouflage and mimicry, and stunning speed and sound to fend off, evade and trick predators.

Our Theory restaurant will be open from 5-10pm! Grab dinner or a drink before the event begins at 6pm. Enjoy wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Is this event 21 and over only?

Yes, you must be 21+ to attend. Minors are not allowed. <strong>Everyone</strong> must present a valid government issued ID.

If I’m unable to attend, can I get a refund?

Yes. If your plans change, if you are feeling sick or have been potentially exposed to COVID please stay home. To request a refund email concierge@omsi.edu or call 503.797.4000 x0. We will give refunds until 5pm the night of the event.

Is there food and beverage at this event?

Yes, our restaurant, Theory will be open. Plus, we will have bars with beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks. We also typically have a couple artisan vendors giving out free samples of alcohol or snacks.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is $2 for after-hours events.
