Ghosts, goblins, and whiskey, oh my! Get in the spirit and celebrate Halloween at OMSI After Dark – costumes encouraged! Taste the difference between grain and potato vodka while local distilleries share the secrets of their craft.
OMSI After Dark is for guests 21 and over, where you can have a drink while you roam the museum. We have science demos, performances, DJs, artisan food and beverage vendors, and more.
Each tasting package comes with one commemorative glass and ten tasting tickets for sampling spirits (vodka, gin, whiskey, etc.).
PLEASE NOTE: No weapons – real or fake – will be allowed into the museum. Full face masks are allowed as long as they are removable and no full face paint.
21+ Only | A valid government issued ID is required for entry for all attendees.
Tickets include access to all of OMSI’s exhibit halls, activities, performances, Planetarium shows, lectures, and vendors taking place at the event.

Oregon artist Christopher Marley reveals the connection between art, science, and nature by creating stunning three-dimensional displays of rare specimens from all over the world. All subjects have been reclaimed or sourced in an environmentally sensitive manner.
Playing with Light | Manipulate 20,000 LEDs, shake your own hand, paint with light, bounce laser beams, freeze your shadow, and so much more. Immerse yourself in the technology and wonders of light.

Our Theory restaurant will be open from 5-10pm! Grab dinner or a drink before the event begins at 6pm. Enjoy wine, beer, cider, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our bars will close at 9:30pm, and alcohol samples given by vendors will end at 9:45pm.

Yes, you must be 21+ to attend. Minors are not allowed. Everyone must present a valid government issued ID.
Yes. If your plans change, if you are feeling sick or have been potentially exposed to COVID please stay home. To request a refund email concierge@omsi.edu or call 503.797.4000 x0. We will give refunds until 5pm the night of the event.
Yes, our restaurant, Theory will be open. Plus, we will have bars with beer, wine, cider and non-alcoholic drinks. We also typically have a couple artisan vendors giving out free samples of alcohol or snacks.
Our bars will close at 9:30pm, and alcohol samples given by vendors will end at 9:45pm.
Parking is $2 for after-hours events.
