Should we edit the genome? Over dinner participants will engage in thoughtful conversations with scientists about important issues regarding the potential societal and ethical implications of advancements in science and technology. This event discusses the potential ways CRISPR could be used across a variety of applications and the related ethical implications.
No prior knowledge is necessary to participate in the discussion. Just bring your thoughts and opinions!
Guests will be placed in groups of 5 ticketholders, plus one scientist to discuss the topic. Genome scientists will be participating and lending background knowledge, but not leading discussion.
Tickets are $20pp and include dinner. There will be a cash bar for beverages.
Advance ticket purchases are required, no tickets will be sold at the door due to food ordering deadlines. No refunds less than 24 hours prior to the event.
