As sure as the fall storms are lining up in the Pacific Ocean, the Oregon Chapter of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) will host the 27th annual Winter Weather Forecast Conference on Saturday, October 26th @ 9AM in Portland. Meteorologists from across the Pacific Northwest will once again give their prognostications for the upcoming winter. Special guest speaker this year is Dr. Cliff Mass (Univ. of WA). Because of this, we will start at 9AM, which is one hour earlier than normal. Without the influence of either El Nino or La Nina (affectionately known as "La Nada") are we in for a wild ride this coming winter? What about the Cascade mountain snow pack? Come hear all the details.
