Birthdays are only available on Saturday or Sunday at two time slots, 10 am – 11:30am and 1 pm – 2:30 pm.

- Experiences must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance to your chosen date and secured with a signed group agreement and 50% non-refundable deposit.
- All bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to availability.Â
- Feel free to contact the Guest Services team at birthdayparties@omsi.edu for any special requests or accommodations needed for your child’s party.Â
- We recommend having at least one adult for every 10 children in your group to ensure safety and proper supervision. Parents are expected to always keep supervision of their children while visiting OMSI.Â
- Parking is not provided, OMSI uses Parking Kitty for parking fees or there is the option to purchase a parking pass at the front desk.
- Storage is not available in the birthday party area before or after your party.Â
- Please ensure all group guests are respectful of OMSI staff, exhibits, equipment, and other guests of OMSI, ensuring everyone can have a fantastic time.
- Cancellations must be requested in writing via email 1 week in advance. OMSI will retain the full non-refundable portion of the deposit and refund the rest of the order.Â
- Requests for a change of date are subject to availability, and it is recommended to make any changes as far in advance as possible.Â
- In cases where extreme weather or other emergency situations that require prolonged closure of the Museum, OMSI will refund 100% of the received order.
- Members receive a 30% discount on the Base Package, the All-Inclusive Package, and all Additional Guest fees. All discounts are included in listed prices.
- Members have the option to choose to use their membership vouchers when booking attractions for party guests or save their vouchers for personal use for a future visit.
- Party guests who join the birthday celebration inside the party room are not eligible for free museum admission through a membership. Membership admission may be used for additional guests who are visiting the museum, but are not participating in the coordinated party activities or entering the party room.
- You are allowed to bring snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for the celebration. For full-service options, OMSI is happy to coordinate your catering on behalf of our third party catering company.Â
- For safety reasons, please refrain from bringing food that requires the use of an oven or freezer, as we do not have appliances available.Â
- Alcohol and illicit substances are not permitted. Any violation of this policy will incur an additional fee and may lead to your immediate removal from the premises.
- Party packages exclude napkins, utensils, cups, and plates. These items may be added for a $15 fee. (Items included with catering orders.)
- Included in the party package, the party client and immediate family will have access to the room 15 minutes before and after the rental time to prepare. The party client may request the option to enter the room 45 minutes early to set up personal decorations if desired; this option may be selected on the party inquiry form.
- For safety and environmental reasons, helium balloons, glitter, confetti, and items with an open flame are not allowed inside OMSI. A fee will be charged if these items are used in the party room for rental, and items will be removed from the building.
