From field trips to digital learning, explore all OMSI has to offer at our annual Educator Open House.
Educators can explore the new temporary featured exhibit hall Monsters of the Abyss, learn about all of OMSI’s educational programming available to schools and community groups, and meet the 2025-2026 program staff. The evening includes complimentary refreshments, access to the Empirical theater, Kendall Planetarium, Science Playground, and more!
For educators in the Oregon Registry Online, one hour of Set One professional development will be available in Core Knowledge Category LEC after completing an on-site activity.
This event is exclusively for educators, community group leaders, and out-of-school professionals (no partners or children). Educators must pre-register to attend.
