The project, Winter Worlds - Snow in Climate, Culture, and Learning, seeks to use snow as a platform to explore Earth’s climate system, engage in non-confrontational dialog about climate change, and expand our understanding of how culture affects STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) learning in informal settings.

Winter Worlds is an interactive touring science exhibition focused on the global impact of snow on climate and human culture. The touring exhibition will engage visitors in the big idea: “Snow plays a vital role in global climate and water supply, and holds a special place in human culture.”
