What will you make with endless cardboard and tape? Create a hat with ears and imagine yourself as a forest animal. Use big boxes and connectors to build a cozy hiding place. Let your creativity be your guide as you imagine, design, and build costumes, homes, and more!

What ages are best for Cardboard Creations?

Cardboard Creations is open to guests of all ages. We recommend that adults accompany guests younger than 8 years old.

Can I take my creation home with me?

With the exception of the blue cardboard screws, we encourage you to to your creations home with you.

What tools can I use?

We have safety scissors, cardboard saws, masking tape, brass fasteners, and cardboard screws, as well as pencils, markers, and rulers. And lots and lots of cardboard, of course!

Will there be someone who can help me?

There will be education staff in Cardboard Creations who are happy to help you make your design a reality! We also recommend that adults accompany guests younger than 8 years old.

How much time will I have to build?

During times of high visitation, building time is limited to 20 minutes. During other times, there are no limits on building time.

How many people can be in Cardboard Creations at once?

Capacity is approximately 25 people. Capacity is subject to change. When Cardboard Creations reaches maximum capacity, build time will be restricted to 20 minutes.
