Winner - The 2003 Unisys Prize for Online Science EducationOMSI was proud to once again participate in International Public Science Day this year. In honor of the upcoming centennial of the Wright Brothers' first flight, the theme this year was Taking Flight. OMSI staff and youth volunteers explored this theme by partnering with teachers and students at Franklin High School in Portland, OR to investigate the science of flight through a glider competition, and by launching a number of other events and projects.
